Hey there, just found the site and I have to say, grreat concept...BUT... i also have to chip in my 2 cents...WRONG GUS'S!!!!! Gus on broad & callowhill has been holding down the fort forever serving up tasty bacon, egg & cheese's, fresh pretzels, hot dogs with a precise amount of mustard, etc etc etc for years now! He has survived the challenge of hungry high school kids, Daily News / Inquirer executives, random belly aching wanderers and others from all walks of life since the 60's!

How about the 1st ever salt-pepper-ketchup.com eat-off, Gus vs. Gus to see once and for all who the #1 with that name is in this town!

Like I said, love the concept, keep it coming...

I'd love to see an episode about porkroll - the most delicious of the breakfast meats. Unfortunately, I think it's on the decline in the cart marketplace - it's a pork product without an 'all-beef' or turkey option, so a lot of cart owners won't serve it for religious reasons. But even others - who serve ham egg and cheese - don't have it, which is a terrible injustice.

There is a great cart at the clothespin, usually the second cart going north on 15th, that still serves it.

As a lifelong Philadelphian, I only recently found out that people outside the area don't have access to porkroll, which is a shame. It seems scrapple gets all the publicity, and the far superior (IMHO) porkroll gets left out.

All of you new to the area should definitely try a porkroll egg and cheese!

You miss your calling. The best part of the show is that wonderful song you wrote. I think it's called Salt, Pepper and Ketchup. I did enjoy the show It made my fat ass want to get on my Hayley and ride to Philly for dog and fish with mustard sandwich instead of going to Baltimore for a ball park dog.
PS - been in Philly to long time to come home to Maryland you are not a Philly boy.
PSS - give your lovely wife a kiss for me
PSSS - How about getting a real job!!!!

You are doing Gods work my friend, greatest site since chickipedia. Love the Slayer drops.
The site could use a list of the carts visited along with a rating for each.

Also, the best hotdog cart in the city is at 17th and Market, she has GRILLED dogs there (sausages too).
